I took my splint off today for the first time since I got it last Tuesday. It’s doing fairly well. I can make a reasonable fist, though it hurts like crazy, and now open and hold objects well.
The knuckle has gone down the entire way and even the finger-length bruising has faded a little on the bottom, so it doesn’t look as awful as it did the first couple of days.
I’m just glad to have it to be testing it out!
So there apparently is a real guy named Lord Sandwich.
I even had a discussion about him with my rentals.
He existed.

I love how, after the success of River Monsters, Animal Planet is trying to introduce these second-rate fishing shows. There’s only one Jeremy Wade, Animal Planet.
